This  week for numeracy we are focusing on algebra  and were tasked to solve simple algebraic equations. this workbook teaches us about how to identify pronominal and numerals in these questions by using the reverse method.

Maths

For this weeks my class is learning about volume, capacity and mass. This week my class focused more on capacity and we had to make a DLO about what we learnt. I only learnt one thing but that doesn't matter. My class also did  capacity  and I made a dlo on that too. I did only learn one thing and this is it. Can you work out the answers below?

wk 3 t 4 Reflection

This week for chapter chat I had to draw a picture of Margaret Scratcherand put 5 facts on Margaret Thatcher I used a google drawing to present  my work I am proud of my work because my cat looks so good  something I need to work on is have the facts a little bit longer .
  
This week of maths  we had to complete 5 out of 9 tasks we used a google slide to present our work  I am proud of  that we finished just after we had to stop something I need to work is to get It done faster.

Maths wk 6 t3 reflection

This week for maths I had to screencastify myself  playing a maths game about volume ( I got a little bit frustrated and there is no sound ) the game was called counting cubes I was really   proud of is that i got through  the levels something i need to work on I need to is to get beater at counting in the later levels. 

Numeracy reflection week 5 term 3

This week for maths I did a NZ medal tally I had to find the percent ,fraction and decimal.I used a google slide to present my learning. I am really proud of how it looks because my learning really clearly.. What I need to work on is decimals ( they are hard ) but I am getting there!

Reflection Term 3 Week 2

Here is my DLO for maths. I screencastified this activity. I played Find Grampy where Grampy hides in the hedge and you have  to find the fracion of the hedge were he is.  I found this game a little bit challenging but that is good because it made me work hard!

Here is my reading for this week my WALT was to comprehend what we read and identify text features. I found this hard at the start but when I got the hang of it and I finished it really easily.

Here is my reading follow up my WALT was comprehend what i read i found this i little bit tricky a first but when i got the hang of it i finished it very quickly.  I was find the cause and effect of things in sentences.

This is my maths follow up  my WALT multiply tens.  We learnt a new strategy for solving these problems quickly.  It is easy when you know your times tables.

This is my reading follow up and my WALT was comprehend what we read.  I enjoyed this activity because I got to experiment with my DLO.

This is my word work my WALT was extend our vocab.  I used a traditional dictionary and also an on line dictionary to find my meanings.

This is my writing  where we got a story starter and write what happened  at the start middle and end.  I think I made a great job of my ending.  Mrs Clark said it really painted a picture in her mind.

This is my reading follow up for this week my WALT was  to comprehend what we read it was not to hard and not to easy.  I had to decide what was a fact and what was an opinion.
